Welcome to the Posey Township Volunteer Fire Department website.

 

The Posey Township Volunteer Fire Department proudly protects approximately 1180 residents living within 36 square miles of Rush County. The department was established in 1953. We currently operate out of one centrally located station. We are a completely volunteer department consisting of 26 volunteers. We provide fire suppression, rescue, and basic life support services. We also provide mutual aid services throughout Rush County and parts of Shelby County.
