Volunteer

 

The Posey Township Fire Department is always looking for new volunteers. The Posey Township Volunteer Fire Department is made up of ordinary citizens who donate their time to help their neighbors. Our duties include fire suppression, emergency medical services, extrication, and search & recsue.

Requirements for new members:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must live in Posey Township
• Be in good physcial shape
• Have a good driving record
• Must become a First Responder, EMT,
  or a certified Fire Fighter I within two years

 

Becoming a Member

If you are intrested in becoming a volunteer you may stop by the station during our monthly business meetings and fill out an application. Business meetings are held every second Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. Training for new volunteers will be paid for and equipment will be provided.
